Well, we might as well get this out of the way right now: This will be my final political post on this blog.
Many of you may not initially understand why I’m about to say what I’m going to say. Some of you may be offended, some may say that I’m no longer a true Conservative… some may even say I’ve abandoned G-d’s direction to “preserve our nation”. Hopefully, you will put those emotions aside long enough to hear me out and understand what I have to say.
My friends, I write this with mixed emotions. Since the Obamacare ruling came down yesterday morning, I have tried, mostly unsuccessfully, to see a ray of light in the darkness. I have tried to find the logic behind the ruling. I have tried to tear apart the wording used to see if we missed something. But the truth of the matter is, the ruling that was handed down was the final nail in the coffin that contains the country the Founding Fathers intended for us to be. The only thing left is to determine the time of burial.
I could go through all the many reasons why this ruling is so important, and so detrimental. But I no longer have the desire to do so. Let’s suffice it to say that one man, by siding with the people who wish to destroy the foundation that made America what it once was, sealed that foundation’s fate. Our government was designed from the ground up to have checks and balances to ensure the balance of power was kept in check. Yesterday’s ruling eliminated those checks and balances for good. There will never be a way to restore our government to what it once was. By ruling that Obamacare’s non-participation penalty is a tax which can be levied by Congress, Justice Roberts handed the legislative branch the keys to the free market economy. This ruling sets the precedent that the government can now tax us for NOT doing or buying something.
Our government is broken beyond repair. There is nothing we can do now. No matter what, this precedent will remain, and it WILL be used. “Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Justice Roberts has bestowed absolute power on Congress. Even if his intent was to somehow destroy the Obamacare law from within itself, he still gave Congress absolute power. There is no turning back from this. We, as a nation, are no longer “of the People, by the People, and for the People”. The fight to save our country is over. Maybe not today, maybe not two years from now… but as of June 28th, 2012, this country officially ceased to exist as it was designed. It’s only a matter of time before it unravels now.
That being said… I am at peace with this.
I am at peace because I now can see, clear as day, that G-d will be returning very soon.
No matter what any Christian church believes, no matter what the news tells you, no matter how much anyone says anything different, Israel is the key to all things. Do not believe anyone who says otherwise. G-d’s chosen people, the Jews, are the key to everything that happens. Israel is the timer for the return of the L-rd.
Things are not good in Israel right now. They are attacked on a daily basis. Violence is escalating rapidly. They may soon be at war with Iran. This is very significant. Iran is allied with Russia and has been for decades. Russia gave Iran a tank manufacturing facility back in the 80′s in exchange for Iran’s support if Russia went to war. That agreement still stands today. If Israel attacks Iran, there is a high probability that Russia will get involved.
As of right now, the United States is the only military ally Israel has left. This is one of the main reasons no one has directly launched a large-scale attack against Israel. But now that Obama has started driving a dagger into the heart of that alliance, these small-scale attacks are getting more and more violent. And with things like the ruling handed down by the SCOTUS yesterday happening all the time in this country, things that make absolutely no sense, things that normally sane and good individuals are getting behind… it’s obvious that other forces are at work.
I believe that G-d has hardened the hearts and minds of the American people. I believe that the clock is winding down on the world, and the End is near, and in order for the events predicted in Revelation and Daniel to come to pass America absolutely must be out of the picture. Israel will have no ally, no one to turn to. That is when G-d will save Israel. In order for that to be true, America must no longer be Israel’s ally. Whether that is because we turn against Israel, or because America ceases to exist, it MUST happen.
Looking at the Bible, and at Jesus’ life, something stands out to me. Jesus never involved himself in political things. The closest he ever came was to say “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to G-d what is G-d’s.” Those of you who are Christians know that we are part of G-d’s kingdom, which is higher than any worldly kingdom. That is why I believe that now, as a American citizen and a Christian, the most important thing I can do is to live my life for G-d and prepare myself to enter His kingdom. What happens in the world around me no longer matters if my allegiance is to the One who created that world.
One last thought: The Bible says that Jesus will wait until the very last person who will accept His gift has done so before He comes back. Socialism is man’s attempt to create the perfect government. We have seen how the vast majority of people who believe that socialism is the best form of government are hateful, evil people.
Is it not appropriate, then, that socialism, and by extension the one world government that will follow, spread throughout the world?
We can fight this, yes. But I believe it is part of G-d’s plan. And I refuse to stand against G-d’s will. Don’t get me wrong, I will vote and do my part as an American, and perhaps G-d will see fit to extend our time here on Earth a bit longer. But I believe that G-d has made it clear: Our time is very short indeed.
And that, my friends, is why I believe that it is time for me to step back from the political discussions and center my focus on G-d. Because when the day comes that I stand before Him, I want to know that there will be a place for me in Heaven, where politics will no longer be of any importance.
