For those of you who don’t know, about a month ago my Twitter account was suspended without notice or reason for nearly a week, as were many other Conservatives on Twitter. (In fact, many of my friends still are suspended, and more are added to the #TwitterGulag every day.)  Not long after that, the person behind the attacks actually called my place of work to file a harassment complaint against me, threaten to sue the company for information about me, and basically try to smear me and get me fired.

When all of this was taking place, I was also in the middle of some serious car troubles. At the time I had two vehicles. Both of them decided to give out on me on the same day. Two days before the phone call to my office.

Needless to say, “stressed” was an understated way of describing my emotional state.

I’m not one to hide behind a false identity. My “About Me” page pretty much tells you all you need to know about me to find me, and I’m not scared of putting that out there because I know that G-d is in control of my life and whatever happens in this world is relatively meaningless once we reach Heaven anyway. But for my family’s sake, I would like to stick around a while. And getting called into the HR office to discuss some woman calling to complain about something I did on my own personal time, well… that got to me a little bit. It made me realize that these people we’re dealing with are serious about pushing their agenda and will do whatever it takes to get you to shut up if you disagree with them… much less if you engage them and prove their arguments invalid.

I thought for a while that this was a relatively new thing for the Left, at least here in America. Today, I learned that it wasn’t… and that it could have been much worse.

I won’t rehash what’s already been written by Liberty Chick and many others about Brett Kimberlin. I’ll simply repost the link to Liberty Chick’s Breitbart.com article and let you read from there. When all of this happened to me, one of my friends on Twitter got me in contact with Aaron Worthing, one of the victims of these attacks (although at the time I didn’t realize his experiences came from this incident). That’s when I realized this wasn’t some isolated thing, it was calculated and targeted against specific people.

Looking back on all of this now, I realize that this all stemmed from the original attacks by Kimberlin. The Left (or as I prefer to call them, the “Party of Down”) will use any tactic necessary, including “SWATting” people as happened to @Patterico:

These attacks are for one purpose: to shut out the Conservative voices who are trying to reach people with the truth. They are intimidation tactics, and now are progressing up to the level of life and death. This is not going to get better before it gets considerably worse.

I realize that I, like the rest of you, have a choice. I can sit on the sidelines and hope to remain under the radar, or I can join the many other Conservatives who are rising up to stand against these tactics and speak out about them. I choose to stand and fight.

We Are Breitbart… and We Are Not Going Away.

I was reading an article today by Thomas Sowell. He was, as usual, making great points about the state of our country. He mentioned how the Left wants everyone to pay their “fair share”, yet 49% of the country pays no taxes. He mentioned that when our economy had its best growth in recent history was during the time when government was being “held hostage” by the Republicans threatening to shut it down. He brought up many other great points about how the liberal Left is always dividing the country.

It got me thinking. (Reading Thomas Sowell will do that to you.) And that thinking led me to a realization:

Our political spectrum is in the wrong direction. And it is our fault for not making this apparent to others.

The media has painted we Conservatives as right-wing nutjobs. We call liberals Leftists. But what do these things really say to people? They say “Pick a side! You’re either for us or against us!” They’re divisive terms, by nature. And that’s the problem with allowing ourselves to look at it that way: By looking at it as the right and the left, we again make this battle into a two-sided argument. We give the left a level playing field.

 

But what if we turned our political spectrum on it’s side?

What if we made left and right… down, and up? Wouldn’t that be more descriptive of the truth?

For one, it would certainly make it hard to call someone an “up-wing nutjob”. That just doesn’t make sense.

The truth of the matter is, the Conservative movement wants to bring people up. The Socialist movement wants to bring them down. The Conservative movement is about limited government allowing for upward growth of private industry. The Socialist movement is about the all-powerful government having total control, keeping everybody down at the same level. Conservatives are all for increasing liberty where Socialism seeks to eliminate liberty. Socialism is not utopia for everyman, it is utopia for the elites who get rich keeping everyone else down. Capitalism is all about the everyman reaching up to attain his dreams.

 

So, from now on, when you talk about the liberal Left… remember, they’re the Party of Down. We Conservatives are the Party of Up. They are the Downists, the Subjugators, the Suppressive Party.

A lot of people ask me how I’m so good at debating liberals, how I’m able to keep my cool when dealing with their tactics. I honestly can’t take the credit for what I’m about to post, it’s all courtesy of an absolutely awesome man by the name of Bill Whittle. But while he has all of his work in video form, I work in text. So I’m going to write this out tonight.

The Frankfurt School

Marxism has been around for over eighty years. Back in 1923, the leaders of the Marxist movement founded as the “Institute for Social Research” in Frankfurt, Germany. This institution, this “think-tank”, eventually became known as The Frankfurt School for short. However, their stay in Germany was short lived. Many of these Marxist leaders were Jewish Communists, who knew that the rise of Nazism in Germany was, shall we say, hazardous to their health. So they packed up and fled Germany, first to Geneva, then to New York in 1935, where they set up shop in Columbia University and remained there until 1953, when they moved the “think-tank” back to Germany.

The catalyst to bring Marxism to the masses

Marxist theorists considered the idea that Marxism would take hold everywhere in the world not a theory, but a scientific fact. They believed that a world war would be the catalyst needed to awaken the working class to the class warfare keeping them from achieving true utopia, thus leading them to overthrow the ruling class and establish a new Marxist order. When this didn’t happen after WW1 (except in Russia where it wasn’t expected to happen), these theorists were stunned. In fact these theorists were doubly shocked when Marxism took hold not in the industrialized, capitalist countries, but in Russia which at the time was a agrarian feudal country. They couldn’t believe it. Marxism took hold in the one place it was not expected to take hold. They realized then that the reason this didn’t happen as they expected was that the people in capitalist countries were “blinded” to their class status by the prosperity they achieved through capitalism. Amazingly enough, the people who attempted to bring about their version of utopia wanted to break the system that allowed the everyman to achieve his dreams.

Once the Frankfurt School moved to America and became accepted in the world of academics, the theorists of the Frankfurt School realized what needed to be done. They needed to break Marxism away from economics and marry it to culture. The catalyst for the Marxist revolution would no longer be the working class; it would be the disenfranchised. In order to bring about this marriage of Marxism and culture, they would need two things: a vanguard (the disenfranchised), and a suit of armor for the vanguard.

The Sword and Shield of Marxism: Critical Theory and Political Correctness

In order for Marxism to take hold in the culture, the leaders of the Marxist movement needed a weapon that could be used to attack the status quo morality of the people. The idea they came up with was Critical Theory. Critical Theory is the “sword” of Marxism. The premise of Critical Theory is simple; it means criticizing the status quo morality without offering any perspective of the criticism, or any alternatives to the current state of being. By separating the disenfranchised into little groups (blacks, women, gays, etc.), Critical Theory allowed those groups to attack the status quo of America from all angles without those attacks having any visible connection, all the while ignoring the fact that these things happen all over the world, and have happened throughout history. E.g., Radical Feminists say that their rights as women are oppressed in America, but never mention that in 25% of the known world women are not even allowed to go outside the home without a male relative, nor do they offer any ideas on how to improve this alleged oppression.

The leaders of the Frankfurt School knew that eventually people would catch on that the “sword” of Marxism was merely a cardboard cutout covered in tin foil, so they needed a defense mechanism. They needed a way to defend their bogus way of thinking against these attacks, and this is where Political Correctness comes in. Political Correctness is the “shield” of Marxism. All of these separated groups could now, under the guise of Political Correctness, claim that they were “offended” because someone said something against their group. If you weren’t a part of that group, you weren’t allowed to talk about people from that group. So the defense mechanism keeps people from even having to listen to an opposing argument, because that argument is immediately classified as racist, homophobic, anti-women, etc.

Knowledge is Power

The Art Of War says “Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles.” The Bible says “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” and “Study to show thyself approved, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”

I wrote this in hope that those of you who may be new to the political scene can read this and understand exactly what we’re up against. We’re in a war right now. There is no denying this fact. We are in a fight to the death for the American way of life. We cannot allow ourselves to fail. By arming ourselves with the truth, knowing the tactics of our enemy, and asking G-d to lead us, we will prevail against these attacks on our nation.

I recently had a discussion with someone on Facebook about the legal issues surrounding gay marriage. Their point was that the Constitution grants us the rights we have as Americans, so we have the right to marry because the Constitution says so and there shouldn’t be laws against gay marriage.

However, she made one big mistake in her argument. She stated the Constitution grants us rights. The Constitution does absolutely NOTHING of the sort.

A lot of people don’t understand this point, but it’s most definitely true. But perhaps you should re-read the first line of the Declaration of Independence before you continue reading this. There’s an important phrase in there that explains my point:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,”

Whoa… wait a minute here. What’d that say? That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights?

Yes, it does. Because the writers of the Declaration of Independence were criminals. It’s true. They were breaking the law of England. They chose to do so because they believed that the law of England was in conflict with a higher order of law, what is commonly referred to as Natural Law. Natural Law is basically two laws: Don’t mess with your neighbor, and don’t break your oaths. Simple two rules, but by those two rules alone, you can run a government. The founders of this country believed that they were being wronged by England because England was infringing on Natural Law by taxing the people without allowing them to be properly represented. The Declaration of Independence was not written to England. It was written as an appeal to the other nations of the world, stating “Yes, we know we are breaking the laws of our homeland, but we are appealing to the higher order of Natural Law and that is our basis for what we are doing.”

The entirety of the Constitution is based on this premise. It is based on the fact that we as human beings have certain rights that are not given to us by man, but are given to us by G-d. The right to be free is not a man-made one, but a G-d-given one. It is Natural Law. So in writing the Constitution, the Founding Fathers did nothing to grant us more rights than we were already guaranteed by BIRTH… what they did was limit the Government’s ability to infringe upon those G-d-given, Natural Law rights!

So in truth, the Constitution is all about PREVENTING the Government from infringing on our liberties. The First Amendment, for example: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” It doesn’t say “Congress hereby grants the right of peaceable assembly to American citizens.” We already had that. We had the right to free speech. We had the right to practice whatever religion we wanted. That was all given to us just from being born, not from a paper written by men who have no authority to grant those rights in the first place.

I’ve never once said that gay marriage should be legal. However, I also never said it should be ILLEGAL. I said it shouldn’t be a government issue. It’s a freedom of the people. Regardless of my beliefs on homosexuality, there is no precedent for the Government to make it a legal issue. Government should have no say in the matter whatsoever, heterosexual or homosexual. Just as government should have no say on abortion, and any number of things that are related to religion. According to the First Amendment, these laws are ALL unconstitutional anyway.

The only reason government gets involved in anything is over money. Plain and simple.

Think about it. When you get married, you have to get what? A marriage license. Which generally costs between $20-$100 depending on where you live. What’s another word for a license? A TAX. The Government TAXES YOU for the privilege of whatever you get said license for. And don’t even get me started on how much money the court system makes on divorces, not to mention the taxes on settlement payments. Plus for years we had the “marriage penalty” tax. Follow the money and you’ll always find corrupt legislation and corrupt politicians.
